Obituary of Betty Ann Robb

Betty Ann Robb, 68 of Standard City passed away Wednesday morning, October 14, 2015 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Betty was born August 29, 1947 in Carlinville, IL, a daughter of Jesse and Anna Marie (Beard) Rainey. She married John M. Robb on October 2, 1965 in Carlinville, IL. Betty was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Rainey and brother James Beard. Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed bingo, camping and fishing. She was a member of the local Red Hat Club. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 from Noon to 2:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Betty is survived by her husband, John M. Robb Sr. of Standard City, IL; mother, Anna Marie of Carlinville, IL; son, John M. (Tammy) Robb, Jr. of Standard City, IL; daughter, Angela M. (Frank) Shoemaker of Standard City, IL; daughter, Vickie L. (Frank) Innis of Thayer, IL; daughter, April D. (Thomas) Mitchell of Standard City, IL; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sister, Helen Greenwalt of Carlinville, IL; brother, Russell (Linda) Ruyle of Carlinville, IL; brother, Cecil (Maxine) Ruyle of Carlinville, IL; brother, Curtis (Beverly) Ruyle of Girard, IL; brother, Donald (Sandra) Ruyle of Gillespie, IL; sister, Sally (David) Baum of Gillespie, IL; sister, Lisa Haley of Carlinville, IL; sister, Thersa (Carl) Madden of St. Louis, MO.
