Obituary of Daniel R. Duncan

Daniel R. Duncan Jr., 27 of Carlinville, passed away Thursday evening, August 13, 2015 in Palmyra, IL. Daniel was born on October 20, 1987 to Daniel R. Duncan Sr. and Gail (Eyer) Duncan-Bouillon in Jerseyville, IL. He attended Carlinville High School and later served in the United States Army. Daniel married Stephanie Schroeder in Carlinville on September 22, 2012 and she survives. Daniel drove a school bus after serving in the United States Army as a military police officer. He presently worked as a Certified Nurses Aid for Sunrise Manor in Virden and drove a bus for Epic Entertainment in Carlinville. Daniel enjoyed lifting weights, running and working on cars in his spare time. Daniel is survived by his wife, Stephanie Duncan of Carlinville; son, Myles Alexander Duncan at home; parents, Daniel R. (Robin) Duncan Sr. of Chesterfield; mother, Gail Bouillon of Carlinville; grandfather, Robert F. Duncan of Carlinville; great grandmother, Gladys (Howard) Burleson of Carlinville; four sisters, Dawn Duncan of Carlinville, Nicole Talbert of Girard, Leslie Neighbors of Girard and Amy (James) Milliken of Decatur, AK; 1 brother, John (Michelle Stover) Tapscott of Chesterfield, as well as 2 nieces, 1 nephew and several cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Memorials are suggested to Myles education fund.
