Carole Ann Golike, 45, of Carlinville, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
She was born Thursday, January 28, 1965 in Carlinville, the Daughter of James Wheeler and Jodi (Menke) Wheeler.
Carole graduated with the Carlinville High School Class of 1983 .
She married Todd Golike in 1986 and later divorced, they had one daughter, Trista.
Carole worked for R&R Bindery as a machine operator for seven years, she really loved her job. She also enjoyed camping, canoeing and collecting "Tiggers".
She is survived by her Daughter, Trista Golike of San Diego, CA (Nathan Donovan, Fiance), Parents, Jim and Jodi (Menke) Wheeler, Companion, Gari Bloome, Brothers, Phillip J. Wheeler, MO, and Robert A. Wheeler of Carlinville, IL, Sister, Regina Ward of Carlinville, IL, Nephews, AJ Wheeler, Ryan Wheeler, and Scott Ward, Nieces, Samantha Ward, and Shannon Ward, Great- Nephew, Kayden Brown,, Uncles, Frank Menke, Jim Menke, Aunts, Kathy Menke,Theresa Menke, Aunt, Sister Lisette Menke, and Aunt, Jean Ramble.
Funeral Information
Visitation will be held from 4.00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, April 19 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL, with a prayer service at 3:45.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Ss. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville, IL.
Burial will follow in Old Calvary Cemetery in Carlinville, IL.
