Suzanne A. Albracht Suzanne A. Albracht, 62, of Carlinville, died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Friendship Home in Carlinville.
She was born Tuesday, December 30, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Hamilton and Bobbie (Cole) Hibbard. She married Edward J. Albracht in St. Clair, Missouri on June 20, 1970.
Suzanne was a 1965 graduate of St. Clair High School, and then attended Drury College and Southeast Missouri State, where she graduated with a degree in education in 1969.
Suzanne taught health and physical education at Carlinville High School, retiring in 2007 after 38 years.
She and Ed loved vacationing and spending time on the beach at their home in Florida.
Survivors: Husband, Edward J. Albracht of Carlinville, Son, Derek Albracht (Jennifer) of Waterloo, Illinois, Grandson, Cole Albracht, Brother-in-law, Carl Albracht (Gail) of Carlinville, and Brother-in-law, Ted Briggs of Peoria. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Cole Hibbard.
Funeral Information
Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, September 6th at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville.
Services:Private graveside services will be held Friday, September 10th, at New Calvary Cemetery in Carlinville. Rev. Wayne Shipley will officiate.
Donations Information
Memorials may be made to the Carlinville School Milk Fund.
