Kathy Adams Kathy Adams, 56, of Chesterfield, died Friday, August 20, 2010 at her residence.
She was born Thursday, June 24, 1954 in Alton, Illinois, the Daughter of Jack and Donna M. (Dunbar) Harris. Kathy attended Alton High School. She married Art Adams in Carlinville on July 23, 2007.
Kathy owned and operated the Village Inn Restaurants in Carlinville and Alton. She had many talents, including being a cake decorator, florist, working in the garden, and writing poetry. She also was an accomplished seemstress. Her most loved joy was being a homemaker.

Basden (JoAnne) of Sparta, Tennessee, Step-son, Mike Fenstermaker (Companion: R.J. Trump) of Benld, Step-son, Jarrod Adams of Carlinville, 8 Grandchildren, Parents, Jack & Donna Harris of Grafton, Sister, Ruth Greenwood (Blaine) of Jacksonville, Florida, Sister, Pam Hill (Wayne) of Anchorage, Alaska, Brother, Phillip Harris (Linda) of Elsah, Sister, Marty Hilburn (Travis) of Cassville, Missouri, Sister, Vicky Jones (Tim) of Batchtown, Mother-in-law & Father-in-law, Nelson & Kathryn Adams of Carlinville, Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Information
Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, August 23 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville.
Services: 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Pastor Steven Helfrich will officiate.
Burial: Chesterfield Cemetery in Chesterfield, IL
