44, of Girard, passed away Sunday evening, September 5, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born Monday, September 6, 1965 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Gerald B. and Shirley J .( Miller) Tucker.

Rebecca was the Valedictorian of her Girard High School class of 1983 and graduated from Illinois State University with a double major in mathematics and economics. She was a reimbursement accountant for Memorial Medical Center in Springfield for 22 years.
Rebecca was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Girard and the Alter-Rosary Society. Rebecca enjoyed children, crafts, reading, flowers, sewing and especially loved animals. Rebecca enjoyed giving to family, friends and her church.

Surviving her are parents, Gerald B. & Shirley J.(Miller) Tucker of Girard, IL, brother, Scott Tucker (wife Kelly) of Middletown, IL, brother, Chris Tucker of St. Charles, MO, grandmother, Mary Miller of Girard, IL, nephews Cody & Ty Tucker and niece Kaitlyn Tucker.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, September 9 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard, IL.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 10, 2010 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church 742 West Madison Street in Girard with Rev. Darin Zehnle.
Burial will be Girard Cemetery.
