Dolores A. Boblick

Dolores A. Boblick 81, of Carlinville, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at her son's home in River Forest, Illinois.
She was born on February 14, 1930 to Joseph and Anna May (Seps) Sippel at Elizabeth, NJ. She graduated from Benedictine Academy in Elizabeth, NJ with the class of 1947. On May 17, 1952 she married William E. Boblick in Reselle, NJ. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1999. Dolores was a homemaker.
She was a member of Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville, where she served on the funeral meal committee. Dolores devoted her life to caring for her family, and loved playing bridge with her special "bridge club angels".
Dolores is survived by 3 sons - Dr. William E. Boblick Jr. (wife, Shelby), of River Forest, IL, Dr. James J. Boblick (wife, Pamela), of Western Springs, IL, Dr. John K. Boblick (wife, Patricia), of Oak Park, IL; 2 daughters - Susan A. LeVora (husband, John), of Carlinville, IL, Anne-Marie Maida (husband, Joseph), of Chicago, IL; 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Mary Anne Sippel of Hurley, NJ, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Robert Sippel.
Funeral Information
Visitation will be held Friday, January 20, 2012, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville, with a prayer service at 8:00 pm.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 21, 10:00 AM at Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church, Carlinville, with Rev. Angel Sierra, officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dolores' grandsons, Matt, Jason, Jeff, Kevin, and Emmett Boblick, Michael LeVora, Anthony and Charlie Maida.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her "bridge club angels", Yvonne Fogel, Carolyn Rathke, Betty Bell, Donna Bowman, Janet Snider, Joan Bellm, Peg McAllister, Rosie Schonebaum, Beth Dobbs, and in memory, Joan Carmody.
Burial will take place in the New Calvary Cemetery.
